Just FYI: If you see smoke from a large fire on a property located near FM 2001 and Hidden Path Road, that is coming from a permitted control burn. Fire suppression is present and bulldozers are on site to control and maintain the fires by digging trenches as necessary. Nearby residents and motorists traveling through the area may periodically see heavy smoke. Lockhart Fire-Rescue and the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office are also aware of the control burn.
