Signed Amendment — CR 130 Traffic Prohibition (PDF, 175 KB)About Chip Seal Resurfacing
Chip seal is the county's primary road resurfacing method. It involves two layers — an asphalt oil coat followed by crushed stone aggregate, then roller-compacted. Chip seal lasts 5–7 years, is more cost-effective than hot mix asphalt, and can be applied during more weather conditions.
