If you're affected by the widespread outage affecting some wireless networks this morning, here are some things you can do if you need to place a 9-1-1 call:
1. Turn on Wi-Fi calling on your mobile device. (Under Settings>Cellular). This will work if you have access to functional Wi-Fi, AT&T said. ***NOTE***: Not all phones and carriers can access WiFi calling.
2. AT&T customers are reporting the most outages. If this is you, and a nearby friend has a different carrier, you may be able to use their device.
3. Use a landline if you have one.
