The National Weather Service issued a Flood Watch for Caldwell County through 9 p.m. Friday (5/1/2026). Rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches with isolated amounts of up to 6 inches are possible. A flood watch means to stay vigilant because projected rainfall and current conditions make flooding possible.
