Court approved courthouse preservation master plan ($4.2M in recommended improvements), prohibited commercial vehicle traffic on County Line Road, selected Safe Streets and Roads for All grant projects, proclaimed May as ALS Awareness Month, and authorized fireworks sales for Juneteenth.
At its May 14, 2026, meeting, Caldwell County Commissioners Court took the following actions:
- Approved the Courthouse Preservation Master Plan identifying $4.2 million in recommended improvements.
- Prohibited commercial vehicle traffic on County Line Road.
- Selected projects for the federal Safe Streets and Roads for All grant.
- Proclaimed May as ALS Awareness Month.
- Authorized fireworks sales for Juneteenth.
