Hector Rangel, Chief EMC of the Caldwell County Office of Emergency Management, recommended lifting the burn ban, citing conditions that were improving due to recent rainfall.
The public is reminded that it is only legal to burn natural brush. Please do not leave fires unattended and keep a water source nearby.
