Caldwell County participates in the Transportation Policy Board of the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, which establishes and guides transportation policy for the six-county Austin region.
CAMPO is the federally designated transportation planning organization for the greater Austin area, including Caldwell County. It coordinates transportation planning across Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson counties to ensure a comprehensive, cooperative and continuing transportation planning process.
